38-year-old R & B singer Nicole Scherzinger is known all over the world, and her exotic appearance is admired by millions. Still, because it is mixed several nationalities in one: Filipino, Hawaiian and ... Ukrainian!

Nicole Scherzinger published cute photos with her grandmothers in Instagram, telling that she has Ukrainian roots.

Nicole was born on June 29, 1978 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her father is a Filipino, and her mother is half Ukrainian, half Hawaiian. Her second name, Praskovya, Nicole received from her grandmother. When Nicole was born, her mother (Rosemary) was 18 years old. In 1981, her mother left her father. They moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where, after a while, Rosemary met Harry Scherzinger, whom she got married. Harry replaced her a father. Nicole was brought up in a "conservative Catholic tradition". She began her career as an actress in Louisville, attending the School of Arts and performing at the local theater. Then Nicole went to Wright's university for acting, but in 1999 she dropped out of school for the backing vocalist of the band “Days Of The New”.
