The 21st of January is one of the most unusual holidays of the year, World Hug Day. According to the tradition of the young holiday, even unknown people can be hugged. Despite being a very young holiday, the author can hardly be found: nobody knows who came up with the idea to hug on January 21 and why this date was chosen. We only know that this holiday dates back to the student community of West-European youth. It was that very day that boys and girls hugged without any sexual reason. As a specific legend says during a friendly kiss people exchange hearty warmth. Psychologists say that foreign ladies who enjoy hugging want to feel the feeling of comfort, love, and safety. We hug our friends and relatives when meeting, after departure to express happiness and gratitude. All brides from Ukraine think it is a great holiday and there should be more holidays like that to give warmth and part of a positive mood to people around.
