Elena: "Let me tell you my story of a lonely girl.
Every girl feels like she's never going to get married again after her marriage has been broken to pieces. You feel lonely and betrayed. I was only twenty-six and I believed in happy ends. I still believe that our Slavic women are worthy of a better life. I wanted to overcome it and try to find a truly devoted man abroad. I wanted to find a trustworthy, intelligent and kind man who would treat me like a real lady. So I went to an international marriage agency to find the man of my dreams. I received many letters from men from different countries. But the majority of them wanted to meet me abroad, in their country, which I couldn't afford and was too shy to say.
So, I had almost no opportunity to meet men. But once I went on a business trip to Sydney and decided to meet Sam, who was living there. I thought we would just chat a bit and that's it, because I was pressed by time. And by the way, he was four years younger than me, which confused me a lot. So, we met and he turned out to be a very interesting and charming man, the man who would match me perfectly.
We decided to meet each other again, but next time he promised to come to my city. And he had kept his word. Since then we have become so close, that we have been dating. Sam made a lot of presents for me, I got beautiful flowers even when we were apart. He called me every single day. Then he took me on a trip to Venice; I got acquainted with his parents, who lived in San Diego. We had a great time together. I'd forgotten everything, my heart was smiling and I was laughing. And one day Sam came and proposed to me. I said 'YES'. It was amazing: his parents arranged a very wonderful wedding, and his mother gave me her miraculous wedding dress. I looked like a little fairy. A poor Russian woman became a really marvellous foreign Bride!
And now I am almost twenty-nine, I live in Australia with my careful and lovely husband. We are waiting for a baby who will be born in three months. We do not know the sex or the baby, we want it to be a surprise!
Well, now I can say for sure that all my dreams and expectations have come true! I knew I could find my love and happiness after that uneasy period of my life!!!
