Refreshing, delicate, and pure, the aroma of mint is liked by most people in the world. And Ukrainian women are not an exception. It pleasantly refreshes and calms down. Word mint according to a myth derives from the name of the nymph Mint, whom a goddess of the underground kingdom turned into an aromatic plant because of jealousy.
Nowadays there exist more than 300 types of mint. Most of these types have beautiful and fragrant leaves. Mint has been always highly evaluated, which is why the halls where holidays were held were sprinkled with mint water. The inhabitants of Rome used it to improve digestion. Egyptians and Romans thought mint had a sacred aroma that could calm down and get rid of jealousy. Mint is one of the oldest kinds of medicine. It was used to cure a lot of diseases.
Ukrainian girls know about the magnificent properties of mint and they use it not only for cooking purposes, but also in cosmetology in essential oils, pills, candles, and balsams.
