Most dieticians and doctors agree with the opinion that no dinner can be called a too-late one. It is all very individual and depends on how much time there is between your lunch and dinner, if this gap is significant, most probably you will snack too much and overeat. The best advice is to eat when you are the most active.
Of course for the majority of people, the time of being the most active is morning, so big meals should be breakfast and lunch with a light dinner. Calories are burnt slowly at night, so a heavy dinner will add extra inches.
The simplest advice that most Russian girls follow is that all products are good in moderation. You can eat everything but within reasonable limits. Also, Slavic women restrain themselves from sweets that are empty calories and replace them with fruits and vegetables rich in fibre. Try steamed vegetables and raw in the salad.
