December 28 is a World Cinema day. It goes back to 1895 when brothers Auguste and Louis Lumière showed the first movie. They are considered to be „parents of the cinematography”. It happened in the capital of France, in the boulevard Cappuccino in a place known as “Grand-cafe”. People were shown several short-length films including Workers Leaving the Lumière Factory. People were shocked when they saw a train on the screen as they had never seen anything like that. Since that day a lot of time has passed, more than a century. Nowadays European women and men are not rushing from the cinema out of fear; on the contrary, they are rushing to the cinema when great premieres are on. World Cinema Day is a wonderful chance to invite your foreign bride to the movies or at least discuss your preferences by email if you are only starting to communicate with a mail-order bride.
