Small talks are short talks usually between unknown people in different social situations: in a bar, airport, in a queue, at a tram stop, etc. These talks can be about the weather, actual events, traffic jams, travelling, films, in other words, anything. The specific feature of small talk is that it does not have an obvious goal, though you may have it… According to Erik Berne, people suffer from 6 types of hunger, one of which is hunger from physical contact. Let’s take the case when you have noticed a nice foreign lady and would like to communicate with her. Even small talk can improve your emotional state and tend to be successful. Almost every topic will do for a small talk, and the more active your life is, the easier it is to find them. Don’t try very hard to produce an impression on your Ukrainian lady, don’t touch your or somebody else’s problems. No matter how you start a conversation, the words should have a positive connotation.
