I talk a lot with the girls and often help them to gain confidence and self-esteem, but I know that young people are less experienced at meeting with the parents of the girl.
Here are some basic tips for you:
1. Try to be sincere, open and listen carefully to conversations, actively asking questions - so your girl's parents are imbued with sympathy for you and you will show yourself as an active young man. The activity is very important for a man, as a leadership role in any relationship is on the man's shoulders.
2. Clothing - Wear simple and tastefully. Pick up all the pieces of clothes so that they are all in place and do not stand out. The most important thing is that the clothes are neat, ironed and suitable for the occasion. So you come across as a careful and responsible young man. As you know, meet on clothes.
3. Do not come to the girl's parents with empty hands. Be sure to buy something for dinner, even if it is a cake or a bag of fruit. And a bouquet of her favourite flowers for the girl’s mother. It will show you as generous, considerate and with a responsible attitude to the meeting.
4. Try to maintain a conversation, do not hesitate. Try to find out in advance what her parents are interested in, how they spend evenings and weekends, what they love and where they travel.
5. When the girl's mother will clear the table, offer to help her, even if you never washed the dishes yourself. The response may be followed by a polite refusal, but this attempt will be appreciated. She will know that you are serious and will praise you in a conversation with her daughter.
6. Do not pretend when meeting with the parents of the girl, be yourself. If the parents of your girl like you for who you are, they will forgive you minor mistakes.
The best quality during the meeting is sincerity. Sincere interest concerns of parents and interesting facts about the childhood of the girl. Praise the beauty and talk about how happy you are to meet such a beautiful girl. Parents will be pleased, and your girl will appreciate it twice!
