Earth Hour is a global annual international event that needs your and your hot Russian girl's participation. It was organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), which is held annually last Saturday of March. The point of the holiday is to turn off the lights and other electrical appliances at the appointed time around the world for one hour. This event aims to attract the widest attention of the world community to the problem of climate change on our planet, to show their support for the need for joint actions to address this environmental problem. It should be mentioned that the "Earth Hour" is primarily a symbolic action of careful nature treatment, a public call for drastic measures to preserve our planet's climate and concerns about its limited resources.

According to scientists, by 2003, the impact of human activity on the planet's ecosystem has grown so much that if current trends remain the same, by 2050, people will need a second planet to meet the needs of mankind in energy, water, food, and waste disposal. So the problem of saving the planet must be reported at different levels, and with the help of today's action, every person in the world can show his concern about the depletion of natural resources and "vote" for a healthy planet.

The idea to turn off the electricity for an hour in order to demonstrate its solidarity in the struggle for environmental protection was implemented by WWF in 2007, in the scale of one city - Sydney (Australia). By next year, the event was supported by the wider community (the action to join more than 100 million people in 35 countries), becoming an international environmental initiative.

Therefore, each year there is an exactly one-hour blackout worldwide including dozens of outstanding buildings. For example, during the campaign of 2011 more than a thousand outstanding monuments around the world turned off their lights, among them were the building of "Empire State Building" (New York), the bridge "Golden Gate" (San Francisco), the Colosseum (Rome), Opera House (Sydney), a Buddhist temple "Wat Arun" (Bangkok), the Royal Palace (Stockholm), City Hall (London), Eiffel Tower (Paris), Acropolis (Athens) and many others. Today, "Earth Hour" is the mass public action in the history of mankind. But the "Earth Hour" is much more than to turn off the lights once in a year for one hour. We should start saving water, use public transport instead of private car oftener, take care of the water, save money and take the trash or take part in various environmental campaigns and campaigns conducted by environmental and ecological organizations and foundations.

Don’t miss the chance to spend 60 romantic minutes without electricity with your Russian lady and once she is far from you, just dreaming about her.
